The Row Barge is a riverside pub at 7 Riverside in Guildford, dating back to 1856 and sitting right on the Wey navigation with its own boat moorings. Two bars pour a wide range of draught beers, ciders, wines and spirits, and the pub builds its week around music: a weekly open-mic night on Tuesdays and a live band every Saturday, with all live music free of charge. Each summer it stages BargeFest, a full afternoon-and-evening outdoor festival of live music on the riverside (returning Saturday 11 July). Welcoming and informal with a capacity of around 80, it's a reliable grassroots gig and open-mic spot in Guildford.
