G Live is Guildford's flagship purpose-built entertainment venue (GU1 2AA), open since 2011 and a cornerstone of the Surrey town's cultural life. Its Main Hall seats 1,031, expanding to a 1,700 seated-and-standing capacity thanks to retractable folding seats that clear a flat floor for rock concerts, while a separate 100-seat Studio with its own bar hosts smaller shows. The programme spans live music, comedy, theatre, talks and orchestral concerts, with past performers including Eric Clapton, Jools Holland, 10cc, KT Tunstall and Beverley Knight, and a full slate of touring and tribute acts booked through 2026-2027.
