Stoke Park is Guildford's principal park and outdoor events site off Nightingale Road, rather than a bricks-and-mortar music venue. It hosts the town's biggest open-air music weekends, headlined by the long-running GuilFest festival, which returns on 4 and 5 July 2026 with Sophie Ellis-Bextor and The Proclaimers topping the bill, plus large one-day events including the Ibiza Orchestra Experience, Summer in Nashville and the Sausage and Cider Festival each August, and the Guildford Lions Firework Festival in November. Staging, PA and infrastructure are brought in per event by the promoters, so there is no permanent backline or house engineer, and artists appear via each festival's own booking process.
