The Swan Inn is a tastefully refurbished traditional pub in Higher Walton, near Preston (Lancashire), retaining original floors and fireplaces. It runs a strong grassroots music programme: live music on Saturdays from 9:30pm and a weekly open-mic night every Tuesday, hosted by well-known local musician Andy Smith, with a house PA and guitars provided for performers. It pours a changing real ale (Bowland/Three B's) and shows major football on Sky and BT Sport. Both originals and covers are welcome. Disabled access is available from the rear, where there's also outdoor seating.

The Swan Inn is a traditional Lancashire local in Higher Walton, on the Preston side of the Ribble, with a weekly Tuesday open mic and a busy live-music weekend.

Open mic every Tuesday, from about 8pm. Free to perform, free to watch. A PA is provided and there are house guitars, so you can turn up empty-handed. Anything else you will need to bring yourself.
