The Hat Factory Arts Centre sits at 65-67 Bute Street in the heart of Luton town centre, run by The Culture Trust Luton. Newly refurbished in 2019, it programmes live music, comedy, theatre, film, dance and workshops year-round. The main gig room — the Factory Floor — holds 230 and hosts an eclectic mix of jazz, blues, folk, world, indie and hip-hop, while the Basement Bar takes smaller gigs, comedy and club nights (the Basement Live/s and Subsonic Sessions series run here). Box office runs Monday to Friday, 10am-5pm.
