The Night
The Wenlock Arms is a CAMRA-favourite pub on the Regent's Canal that runs a no-frills Tuesday acoustic open mic. Format is unusually relaxed — long slots, polite-but-quiet listening room, real ales, no posturing.
180 minutes, 12 acts at 15 minutes — generous compared to most London mics. Songwriters and folk-leaning duos dominate. Crowd is 40-70 people, almost entirely there for the music (this isn't a big general-public pub).
Sign-up process
Sheet on the bar at 7:30pm. Walk-in only. The format expects acts to play 3 songs; the host (a regular) calls names from the list.

26 Wenlock Road, N1 7TA. 6 minutes from Old Street (Northern Line) or 8 minutes from Hoxton (Overground). Buses 21, 76, 141 stop on City Road.

Single small room — bar in the middle, stools around the walls. Capacity c. 80. Pub food until 9pm; the cask selection is the main draw. Quiet enough that you can hear an acoustic guitar from any corner.
