The Hawley Arms is a multi-storey Camden Town institution on the corner of Castlehaven Road and Hawley Crescent (NW1 8QU), tucked behind Camden Market just off Camden Lock. Famous as Amy Winehouse's most-frequented local — where she drank, sang and occasionally pulled pints, now commemorated by a giant mural on the exterior — it became a hub of indie's 2000s scene alongside regulars like Pete Doherty, Kate Moss and Noel Fielding. Rebuilt after the 2008 Camden Market fire, it remains a working live-music pub holding regular bands and music nights, with a rooftop terrace and a slice of rock-and-roll history. Around 350 capacity across its floors, running a house PA and guitar amp and welcoming originals and covers across indie, rock and acoustic.
