The 606 Club has been putting on live music since 1976, and it is one of the busiest jazz clubs in Europe, with music seven nights a week. It started as a small 30-seater venue at 606 King's Road and moved to its current basement at 90 Lots Road, Chelsea, in 1988.
The programme is jazz, Latin, soul and more, with a deliberate focus on homegrown, UK-based artists rather than touring international names. There are Sunday lunchtime sessions too.
Steve Rubie has run the club since 1976, and non-members are welcome. Alcohol is served with food, so plan to eat while you listen.
