The Fiddler's Elbow is a legendary grassroots live music venue and pub at 1 Malden Road, Chalk Farm (NW5 3HS), a cornerstone of Camden's music scene and a stone's throw from Camden Market and Chalk Farm tube. A former pub turned 150-capacity venue, it hosts live gigs every night of the week — and often daytime sets at weekends — across all genres: pop, rock, indie, punk, jazz, metal, rap and hip hop. Past performers on their way up have included Florence + The Machine, The Libertines, Laura Marling and The Vaccines. An intimate, vibrant room with wooden tables, Chesterfield sofas and a full in-house PA.

The Night
The Fiddler's Elbow in Chalk Farm is one of Camden's most iconic grassroots music pubs, and its monthly 'Bubblebath' open mic runs on the first Tuesday of every month with sign-up from 7pm. It's a genuinely open stage — musicians, poets, comedians, magicians and dancers all welcome (just no bands bigger than two) — with a warm, anything-goes spirit. Entry is free (pay what you can on the night); sign up in advance at bubblebathopenmic@gmail.com or at the registration desk, and arrive early as performers go up in registration order. Five minutes from Chalk Farm tube.
