The Fulwood Arms is a suburban local on Aigburth Road in south Liverpool, converted from a former motorbike shop and styled on a Victorian London pub - bohemian and a bit trendy, but at heart a proper local that shows the football, runs a quiz and puts bands on week in, week out. Thursday is open mic night: an intimate stage in a friendly room, everyone welcome, and the week's live-music slot for anyone who wants to try material in front of a crowd.
