Round the Corner is a grassroots live-music venue and rooftop bar at 51 Kempston Street in Liverpool's Fabric District (L3), opened in November 2021 by Jake Kellie and Andrew Coventry to support local musicians and creatives through a fair-deal artist policy. The laid-back room pairs craft ales and cocktails with a busy programme: live music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, stand-up comedy on Wednesdays, professional comedy on the first Friday of the month and poetry nights on the second Thursday. Dedicated to grassroots music, comedy and poetry across the Liverpool region, it welcomes original acts and covers across mixed genres and is widely praised for giving artists a fair cut.

About Round the Corner Liverpool

About This Open Mic
The Night
Round the Corner is a rooftop-terrace bar and performance space in Liverpool's Fabric District that proudly champions grassroots culture — part bar, part stage. Its open mic runs on Sundays and is a COMEDY open mic rather than a music night, alongside the venue's free weekly comedy shows, monthly poetry nights and regular live music. If you're a musician this isn't the slot for you; if you fancy trying out material on stage, Sunday's your night.
