Mono is a vegan cafe-bar, music venue and record shop in the corner of Kings Court, off King Street in Glasgow's Merchant City near Trongate (G1 5RB). Opened in 2002, it has built a reputation for good beer, freshly-made vegan food and a strong programme of gigs — hosting exciting local and international bands alongside exhibitions, book readings, art performances, record fairs and DJ nights. It shares its space with Monorail Music, one of the city's best-loved independent record stores. Standing capacity around 300, with a full backline and in-house engineer for live shows. An ethical, community-focused space that strives to challenge barriers to music, culture and sustainable food.
