The Victoria Inn (locally 'The Vic') sits at 12 Midland Place, just across from Derby railway station in the DE1 2RR. Refurbished and reopened in July 2022 by John Smith and Emma Middleton, it's grown into one of the few dedicated live-music pubs in Derby, with a combined pub-and-gig-room capacity of around 150. Live music runs every Friday and Saturday, showcasing local musicians, while the bar pours six rotating real ales and a dozen traditional ciders (a Derby CAMRA Cider Pub of the Year finalist in 2023). Mondays bring a quiz at 8pm followed by bingo. A genuine grassroots room that welcomes both originals and covers.
