The Marrs Bar at 12 Pierpoint Street is Worcester's leading independent live music venue, built inside a former dance studio that retains its original 1958 mahogany sprung floor and designed by musicians, for musicians. It runs live music most nights, with a Wednesday jam night for the local scene, all powered by a 5kW house PA, an in-house lighting rig and resident sound engineers. Two minutes from the train station, it is the city's dedicated grassroots music room and a long-standing host of the Worcester Music Festival.

The Night
The Marrs Bar jam night runs WEEKLY on Wednesdays and the venue calls it the longest running jam night of its kind in the UK, going for over twenty years. Backline is provided, including drums, amps and mics, so you can bring just your guitar and pedals. Acoustic and solo acts open the night from around 8pm, with louder full-band jamming from about 9.30pm. The Marrs Bar is an independent live music room just off the centre of Worcester on Pierpoint Street.
