About The Redesdale Hall
The Redesdale Hall is a grassroots music venue in Moreton-in-Marsh, Moreton-in-Marsh with a standing capacity of approximately 120. Bring your own PA, mics and instruments.
The Redesdale Hall is a historic building in the heart of Moreton-in-Marsh, owned and run by The Redesdale Hall Trust, a registered charity (No. 1202814) set up to keep it in use for the town.
There are two hireable spaces. The Upper Hall is the performance room - oak panelling, leaded windows, a stage and a 5m cinema screen, holding 120, reached by a wide staircase with a stairlift. The Lower Hall holds 80 at ground level with step-free ramp access, a kitchen and accessible toilets. Either can be hired alone, and heating is included.
Hire runs at GBP 20 per hour for each hall and GBP 5 for the kitchen, with quotes for larger events such as balls and weddings.
The hall actively books bands, and says so plainly: rock bands, indie groups and string quartets are all invited to follow Sir Elton John onto its stage. Gig enquiries go to gig@theredesdalehall.org.uk.
