The Wheatsheaf Inn at 283 Old Bath Road in the Leckhampton area of Cheltenham is a Wadworth pub that doubles as a popular music venue, holding regular jazz and blues evenings, with Cheltenham's Howlers Comedy Club among the regulars. Its large, fully self-contained function room — aptly named 'The Venue' — carries genuine musical heritage: in 1958 'Club 66' opened here and Cheltenham-born Rolling Stone Brian Jones (then Lewis Brian Jones) signed the membership cards. Re-established as a live-music venue, it hosts bands regularly and provides a house PA, welcoming both originals and covers.
