Tramshed is a 1,000-capacity live-music venue in a converted Edwardian tram depot on Pendyris Street in Grangetown, Cardiff, which opened to the public in October 2015. The red-brick landmark wraps a main mezzanine-level music hall (full 1,000 capacity reached only a handful of times a year) around a 46-seat boutique cinema, a balcony bar and a terrace bar. It's one of the city's busiest mid-size touring rooms, programming rock, indie, pop and electronic shows year-round — a professionally run, in-house-PA venue rather than a bring-your-own-equipment room.

About Tramshed Cardiff

About This Open Mic
The Night
Tramshed is a 1,000-capacity live-music and arts venue in a Grade II-listed former tram depot on Clare Road, Cardiff, programming touring bands, club nights, comedy and DJs. It is not an open-mic venue — there's no recurring open mic or acoustic come-and-play session here, and the earlier listing for one appears to have been a data error. If you're looking to perform, this is a ticketed gig venue rather than an open stage.
