The Canopi is Cardiff's creative hangout on Tudor Street, on the ground floor of The Sustainable Studio - a coffee bar and exhibition space by day, a laid-back live venue by night, run as a Community Interest Company supporting the next generation of creatives through workshops, internships and mentoring.
When it runs The Canopi sessions open mic runs monthly on a Tuesday, from 7pm - recent dates were 16 June, 14 July, 11 August and 8 September 2026. It champions original music and spoken word.
