The Geldart is a large two-bar backstreet corner pub at 1 Ainsworth Street in Cambridge, specialising in real ales, innovative 'hot rock' food, exotic meats and regular live music. It's decorated throughout with film and music memorabilia (including a glass piano) and has an enclosed patio garden. The Night
The Geldart is a music and film themed backstreet pub on Ainsworth Street in the Petersfield quarter of Cambridge, with a glass piano, an enclosed patio and a regular live-music programme. It no longer runs an open mic or jam. The last-Sunday Geldart Jazz Sessions, hosted by guitarist Judah Daniels since August 2024, is now a ticketed monthly concert rather than a jam, and the current calendar is booked acts: Tuesday-night gigs at 8:30pm (typically GBP 7, GBP 5 students), a second-Sunday jazz and exploratory-music night from 7:30pm, a resident flamenco guitarist on the third Thursday and free Sunday-afternoon Americana sessions.
