Mona et Toi (LDN-BCN) is the noir indie-grunge duo of French singer-songwriter Alison Manicourt and British-Persian guitarist-producer Shervin Hejazi. Together, they create a world where rock feels elegant, sensual and emotionally charged.   Drawing comparisons to PJ Harvey, The Kills and Wolf Alice, their songs unfold like cinematic snapshots: sharp, immersive guitars colliding with velvet-grit vocals, while carving out a sound entirely their own — hypnotic, visceral and deeply human.   They just released their self-produced debut album Radical Romance of Mind via Hey Boy Music, the new UK imprint of Madrid label Mushroom Pillow. Raw yet refined, the record channels the duo’s chemistry into something intense, stylish and unpredictable. Opening singles Nothing Rhymes With Myself, Jail Cell, and Sweet + Sour have drawn international attention, including support from COLORSxSTUDIOS, KEXP, Jodie Bryant (BBC) and Mondo Sonoro (Spain).
