How do I make a stage plot?
Open Stage Plot from the Bookings menu. A stage plot shows a venue's sound engineer who stands where and what gear comes with them.
The page has four tabs:
- Diagram — build the stage. Add your band members, then tap an item to select it and drag it into place. Something hidden under another item? Pick it in the Key (the tab at the stage's right edge), then drag it. In the Key, No counts items and Desk is the channel (CH) or monitor mix (MIX) on the sound desk, so they never match: a drum kit is one item but seven channels. Drag the stage to move in (right-drag turns it; on a phone, two fingers). Under the drawing: Undo, Redo, Clear the stage and Publish. The bin icon beside the plot's name (Clear this stage plot) empties the whole plot. Switch between Lit stage and Blueprint, and 3D and 2D. To add a note to an item or a band member, select it and type in Note for the engineer. On a computer, the full-screen button (hovering says Full screen) opens the editor full screen; Esc or Close goes back.
- Inputs — one channel per source: what it is, its mic or DI, and whether the band or the venue provides it.
- Monitors — each mix you need on stage, who hears it, and wedge or in-ears.
- Details — everything in writing rather than on the drawing, including every note, numbered to match the stage.
To send it, press the download icon in the page header (hovering says Download) and pick Image, PDF rider or Print-friendly PDF — or send it in the chat. The PDF rider shows your stage from every angle, a crew plan with each channel and mix, the key, your lists and notes, and the live plot's QR code once it is published. See how does messaging work?.
Press Publish under the stage to give the plot a public page and an embed code. To take it down, open Share to a venue (the share icon in the header) and press Stop sharing.
