The Halls is Norwich's most striking live-music setting — the complete medieval friary complex of St Andrew's and Blackfriars' Halls, run by Norwich City Council in the heart of the city. St Andrew's Hall, the larger of the two, seats up to 767 or holds around 900 standing beneath its soaring 15th-century roof, while the adjoining Blackfriars' Hall offers a more intimate space. The acoustics and atmosphere make it a regular home for classical concerts, choral works and big-band nights, and every year it hosts jazz, pop, folk and world artists during the Norfolk and Norwich Festival. With full stage, lighting and PA infrastructure for hire, it's equally at home with touring tribute shows, orchestras and one-off celebrations.
