The Nick Rayns LCR (Lower Common Room) at the University of East Anglia is Norwich's flagship live-music hall and one of the busiest touring venues in East Anglia. The main room is an all-standing, flat-floor space with a maximum gig capacity of 1,550 (slightly higher for club nights), backed by professional-grade production, sound engineering and lighting that meet touring standards. Across more than 30 years it has hosted U2, Manic Street Preachers, Kasabian, Faithless, Stereophonics, Duran Duran, Eurythmics, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Iron Maiden and Coldplay, alongside a steady run of indie, rock, alternative, pop and electronic bills. Gigs are 14+; club nights are 18+.
