Hallé at St Michael's is the Hallé orchestra's second Ancoats home, on George Leigh Street, Manchester (M4 5DG) — a former Catholic church that sat at the heart of the city's 'Little Italy' from 1859 until its closure in 2004, now restored as a performance and education space. The flexible room seats around 150 and takes up to roughly 200 depending on the layout, hosting Hallé rehearsals and concerts, community events, folk and acoustic gigs (it's a listed Manchester Folk venue) and Greater Manchester Fringe shows.
