Empire Warrington is a c. 400-capacity live-music venue and sports bar at 120 Bridge Street in central Warrington, which relocated from across the street in 2016 into a purpose-designed room with a cutting-edge PA and stage lighting. It opens Friday to Sunday with a rotating bill of top touring artists, tribute acts and local talent - classic and heavy rock, pop, electro, indie, beat and ska - and hosts one-offs like the Maunders School of Popular Music showcase and a Northern Soul Beat Club. September 2026 lists a Northern Soul charity day, a Stranglers tribute and a Scorpions tribute. Entry is often free, with a small fee for tribute acts. Ample seating, a dance area and reasonably priced drinks.
