The ‌‌‍Backroom is an intimate, speakeasy-style bar and live-music space tucked beneath the railway bridge at 50a Call Lane in the heart of Leeds city centre (LS1 6DT). Established in 2012, it pairs comfy booth seating and a sizeable dancefloor with a private heated terrace, opening late — typically Thursday to Saturday — to serve the city's night owls. The musical programme runs from feel-good DJ sets blending Motown, disco, soul, R'n'B and funk through to themed live events such as the over-30s rock and metal afternoons (3pm-7pm).
