Leeds ‌‌‍Caribbean & African Centre (formerly the Leeds West Indian Centre) is a long-standing cultural and community hub at 10 Laycock Place in Chapeltown, Leeds (LS7 3JA), with more than 40 years of history. Its main room has a well-equipped stage and fully stocked bar hosting live performances, sound-system parties, reggae, soca and dub nights, a reggae choir, dance nights and community events. Past performers include reggae band Mystic Revealers, calypsonian David Rudder and poet Mzwakhe Mbuli. A 4.4-star-rated grassroots venue rooted in Leeds' Caribbean and African community.
