The ‌‌‍Mad Hatter Cafe Bar is a tiny, Alice-in-Wonderland-themed pub on Manor Street in Hull's Old Town (HU1 1YP) — reputedly Hull's smallest pub, reopened and reorganised in August 2024. Despite its size it punches above its weight for live music, hosting the regular 'Acoustic Wonderland' open mic and acoustic night where players of all abilities and genres are invited to take the floor from 8pm in a supportive, friendly atmosphere. With a house PA, a cracking range of local beers (including Newsome Brewery) and craft cocktails, it's a much-loved grassroots room rated 4.9/5 by visitors.
