Hull ‌‌‍City Hall is the city's grand municipal concert hall on Queen Victoria Square in the centre of Kingston upon Hull (HU1 3RQ). Designed by city architect Joseph Hirst in the Baroque Revival style and built between 1903 and 1909, its main auditorium spreads across a floor, balcony and gallery, seating 1,200 or holding up to 1,800 with a standing main floor. Run by Hull Theatres, it hosts a varied programme of pop, rock, classical and tribute concerts as well as comedy and civic events such as University of Hull graduations. A flagship mid-size live-music venue for the city and the wider East Riding.
