The ‌‌‍Record Factory is a late-night bar at the bottom of Byres Road in Glasgow's West End, styled on New York's underground bars - booths, a pool area, a big beer garden and a gig and dance floor at its heart. It's licensed until 2am. Over the years the room has hosted bands like Temples and Palma Violets, and it still puts on gigs from local and touring acts - folk and indie bands have played here in 2026 - alongside afternoon indie and rock nights and quiz nights. These days the weekends lean on DJs, who play from 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
