The Winchester Gate is an award-winning, independent, family-run free house at 113-117 Rampart Road, Salisbury (SP1 1JA), with community and the arts at its heart and a strong reputation as the city's best pub for live music. It runs a year-round programme of music, comedy and arts, specialising in original live-music artists from all over the UK — across three music stages plus a unique tented amphitheatre in its large, partly covered beer garden. A multiple CAMRA Pub of the Year winner, it pairs quality real ale with a genuinely busy original-music calendar, plus pool, darts and petanque, and on-site parking off Rampart Road. A serious grassroots music room with a full backline.
