The Cremorne is an early-nineteenth-century former coaching house at 185 London Road in Sheffield's Highfield district (S2 4LH), now a busy, unpretentious open-plan pub that has become an integral part of the city's music scene. A lower-level area serves as the band space and leads out to a characterful outdoor courtyard. It puts on live music every Thursday and Friday plus open-mic nights and late-night revelry, often tying in with local events like Sharrow Festival and the Sharrow Lantern Carnival. A strong real-ale range and well-regarded pizzas round out the offer, and there's a PA in place. Just 300 metres from Bramall Lane, it welcomes both original and covers acts across rock, indie, alternative and more.
