Portsmouth Guildhall on Guildhall Square (PO1 2AB) is the South of England's primary events and live-music centre — a 2,200-capacity auditorium that stages hundreds of shows a year, plus The Lens, a 170-seat / 200-standing studio room for smaller bands. Its history is exhaustive: from The Beatles and the first live airing of Pink Floyd's 'Dark Side of the Moon' to Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, U2, Arctic Monkeys, The Rolling Stones and Iron Maiden.
