The Night
Mansfield Folk and Acoustic Club meets every Monday evening throughout the year (including most Bank Holidays) at Forest Town Arena on Clipstone Road West, its home since September 2021. Doors open at 19:00 for a prompt 19:30 start in the lounge, finishing around 22:00. Entry is pay on the door, cash only: £1 for singers' nights and sing-around sessions, £2 for feature nights (floor spots are available on all feature nights) and £5 for guest nights, which run half an hour later, with doors at 19:30 for a 20:00 start and a 22:30 finish, sometimes in the 'big room'. The published programme runs right through the year, with short closures over Christmas (the club re-opens on 4th January), and A5 paper copies of the forthcoming programme are usually available from the desk at the club.
