Colwick Country Park is a Nottingham City Council country park on Racecourse Road, on the eastern edge of the city, better known for its lakes, wildlife, Saturday parkrun and open-water swimming than as a music room. It comes alive as a music venue a handful of times each summer when promoters bring temporary outdoor stages to the parkland - most notably Rum & Reggae Fest (Saturday 27 June 2026, two stages, 1pm to 11pm, 18+) with a bill spanning David Rodigan, The Skints, Gentleman's Dub Club, Roni Size, General Levy and Fabio & Grooverider. There is no house stage or PA: everything is brought in by the event organiser, so it's a festival-site listing rather than a year-round grassroots venue.
