The Night
The Hole in the Wall is a 1930s art-deco back-street pub at 63 North Sherwood Street in Nottingham (NG1 4EZ), and its open mic runs on Sunday evenings. The uncertainty that hung over the pub when the previous licensees announced they were leaving the trade has passed - it is trading under new ownership and reviewers in 2026 still call it a cracking little family-run boozer. There's a guitar and a piano on hand, so you can travel light, and entry is free. The rest of the week takes in a Thursday quiz and karaoke nights.
