Bunkers Hill sits at 36-38 Hockley, at the foot of Nottingham's trendy Hockley quarter and a short walk from Old Market Square. It has a long-standing reputation as a live-music bar: an upstairs private-hire room has hosted everyone from local up-and-comers to national talent, and the stage has previously been graced by Adele, Vampire Weekend and Mumford & Sons. Downstairs it's a serious beer destination — five cask ales, ten craft taps, traditional cider and a craft fridge of UK and world beers. A house PA and guitar amp support both originals and covers across mixed genres. Open Sunday noon-11pm, Monday-Thursday 4-11pm and until midnight Friday and Saturday. A dependable grassroots fixture in Nottingham's gig circuit.
