A community hall on Hollingsworth Road in north Lowestoft, at the junction with Montgomery Avenue. It is the long standing home of Waveney Folk Club, which moved here in 2014 and celebrated its 54th birthday in June 2026. There is no bar, but guests may bring their own drinks. Alternate Fridays are open floor singers nights, the others booked guest concerts.

The Night
Waveney Folk Club meets here on alternate Fridays, 8pm to 11pm. Roughly half the nights are singers' nights, an open floor singaround where local performers and visitors play songs and tunes; the other nights have a booked guest artist and are concerts rather than open floor. Recent singers' nights include 3, 17 and 31 July 2026, with 14 and 28 August 2026 next. Admission is 6 pounds 50 when a booked guest artist is performing; the singers' night price is not published. There is no bar at the hall, so bring your own drinks. A separate Waveney Acoustic Singaround Club is also listed at the same hall on alternate Fridays.
