The Joiners Arms is a classic back-street pub tucked among the Victorian terraces just off Lincoln's West Parade, a five-minute walk from the city centre. It is a real-ale local pouring a rotating choice of five cask ales alongside more than 150 gins, with two open fires, a rear beer garden and Lincoln's only bar-billiards table. The music calendar is busier than the frontage suggests: a fortnightly open mic on alternate Saturdays from 9pm, Lincoln Folk Club meeting fortnightly on Wednesdays, a monthly Saturday afternoon acoustic jam session, and occasional Friday and Saturday music nights alongside the Tuesday quiz. An unpretentious, community-minded spot for grassroots performers.
