About Lincoln Central Library

Lincoln ‌‌‍Central Library sits on Free School Lane in the city centre and runs community events alongside its lending service. The Write Note is a free monthly acoustic music and poetry session held there on the first Saturday of the month from noon to 2pm, open to any acoustic performer and to listeners, with names taken on a flip chart on the day. The session dates back to 2007 and is currently hosted by Les Brown; confidence is marked low because the host's own website is no longer resolving, so only the Fizgig guide could be checked.
