The Swan and Hedgehog (formerly The Swan) on King Street in Ipswich (Suffolk) is a lively town-centre pub with an impressive calendar of live music, hosting bands and artists across all genres alongside regular karaoke. It has a notable pedigree for supporting grassroots talent — early-career acts including Ed Sheeran, Mumford & Sons and Slaves are linked to the venue — and it serves a large range of real ales, ciders, lagers, wines, spirits and cocktails. The pub is also a local landmark thanks to a hedgehog mural painted on its exterior in 2017 for Suffolk Wildlife Trust. A house PA is provided and both originals and covers are welcome.
