The Bungalow at 15 Shuttle Street is Paisley's independent, ethical live music venue, sat right in the heart of the town centre (PA1 1YD). The Bungalow name dates to the late 1970s on Renfrew Road, where The Fall, The Skids, The Jam, The Clash, The Buzzcocks and Echo & the Bunnymen all played before the original venue closed in the early eighties. The revival opened at its current Shuttle Street home in 2008, since hosting The Rezillos, The Quireboys, Kyle Falconer, Frightened Rabbit, Toploader, The Christians and The Blockheads. It keeps ticket prices as low as possible — many gigs are free — and runs a full programme of touring and emerging acts alongside a PA-equipped stage for local bands. A genuine grassroots cornerstone of the Renfrewshire scene.
