MacSorley's is a family-run, multi-award-winning music bar in the heart of Glasgow city centre at 42 Jamaica Street (G1 4QG), two minutes from Glasgow Central station. The building dates to 1892, with c.1900 glass and woodwork and a surviving mosaic floor. It puts on live music six nights a week, Tuesday to Sunday, spanning folk, jazz, rock and blues, and serves traditional Scottish fare alongside a large range of premium spirits, whiskies and draught beers. A reliable, well-regarded grassroots live room.

MacSorley's is a family-run, multi-award-winning music bar on Jamaica Street in central Glasgow, going strong since 1892 and just two minutes from Central station. Its open mic runs every Wednesday and is free to play or watch — you're simply encouraged to buy a drink while you're there. With live entertainment six nights a week and a warm, music-first crowd, it's an easy, well-regarded stage to test new material.
