About The General Eliott

The ‌‌‍General Eliott is a Grade II listed, family-run pub on the Grand Union Canal at Uxbridge Moor, a short walk out of Uxbridge town centre. It was fully refurbished shortly before lockdown and gained an under-cover seating area right beside the canal, so the garden works in most weathers.

### Live music

The weekly open mic runs every Thursday night at 8:30pm and welcomes singers, players, poets and comedians. Saturdays are the band night, with local acts such as Beaky's Band and Firehorse on the events calendar, and the second Saturday of the month is karaoke. The pub describes itself as home to the best live entertainment in Uxbridge. There is also a Tuesday quiz at 9pm and a third-Saturday bingo.

### Practical

Open every day at noon, closing 10pm Monday, 11:30pm Tuesday to Thursday, 12:30am Friday and Saturday and 8pm Sunday. Food is served lunchtime and evening (Sunday lunch until 5pm). Cask ale on the bar, dog friendly, and children are welcome until 8pm. Phone 01895 237385.
