About The Station House

The ‌‌‍Station House is a celebrated micropub on North Road in Durham, named CAMRA North East Pub of the Year in 2022. It pours a rotating range of cask and craft beer in a simple, conversation-first room close to the railway viaduct.

The Station House Session is an acoustic tunes session held upstairs on the second Thursday of the month from 8pm. It is free and walk-in - bring an instrument and join in, with folk tunes at the core and a friendly circle of regulars.

As a micropub the space is intimate, so the session stays unamplified and sociable rather than a stage-and-PA affair.
