Shildon Civic Hall is a recently refurbished, council-run multi-purpose venue in the centre of Shildon, County Durham (Civic Hall Square, DL4 1AH). Alongside a modern lounge bar, restaurant and function suite, its main hall runs a varied entertainments programme — live bands and tribute shows (e.g. an Express Yourself Madonna show), theatre productions, wrestling and boxing — and is hired out for weddings, parties, christenings and community use. Regular bookings include the Shildon Flower Club and dance classes. Contact the hall on 01388 772902 (9am-noon daily or evenings after 6pm).
