The Imperial Music Venue occupies the historic Arcadia Hall on Cliff Street in Mexborough, South Yorkshire (S64 9HU), directly opposite the bus station and a short walk from the train station — sitting roughly central to Sheffield, Doncaster and Rotherham. The 100-capacity room is intimate but properly kitted out, with a fully installed PA rig, an in-house sound engineer and DMX intelligent lighting on a large band stage. It runs live music every weekend (including Sundays) plus an award-winning open mic night every Thursday, making it one of the busier grassroots stages in the Dearne Valley.
