The Bounty Inn is an 1800s corner pub on the junction of Bounty Road and Council Road, on the edge of the Mays Bounty cricket ground and a short walk from Basingstoke bus and rail stations. Run by Fireside Pub Company, it serves craft beer, cocktails, burgers and wings and is open midday to 11pm daily. Events here are run by outside organisers rather than programmed by the pub, including the monthly BSK Poets spoken word open mic.

BSK Poets, formerly known as Bards, runs a poetry and spoken word open mic at the Bounty Inn on the first Thursday of every month, 7pm to 9pm. It is a genuine open floor night: read your own work, read a poet you love, or just come and listen. Entry fee and slot length are not published.
