About The Black Heart
The Black Heart is Camden's iconic rock and metal pub at 2–3 Greenland Place, London (NW1 0AP), a heavy-metal hotspot about fifteen minutes' walk from King's Cross St Pancras. A large, lively pub area downstairs (wood panelling, framed movie posters, band paraphernalia and a shrine to Christ the Redeemer) sits beneath a dedicated upstairs gig room with a roughly 150 standing capacity. Every week the venue programmes a diverse line-up of rock, metal, jazz, ska and singer-songwriter acts — album launch shows, multi-band bills and one-off gigs — making it a fixture of London's alternative live scene.
