The Night

Watford's longest-running open mic — going strong for over 12 years — is hosted in the Colne River Room at the Pump House Theatre & Arts Centre. It runs every Tuesday, doors 7:30pm, performances 8pm–11pm, with 10 or 15-minute slots and full sound provided plus a piano on site. All ages and styles are genuinely welcome (performers have ranged from age 8 to 90). Entry is £3 (under-16s free), and to guarantee a slot you pre-book via the Watford Open Mic Facebook group.

About The Pump House

The Watford Open Mic is the town's longest-running open mic, hosted in the Colne River Room at the Pump House Theatre & Arts Centre just off Watford's Lower High Street (Local Board Road, WD17 2JP). It has run for over a decade, every Tuesday night, doors 7:30pm and performances 8pm–11pm. The organisers provide full sound (PA) and a 10- or 15-minute slot per act, with a piano available on-site; recordings can be made for £3. Entry is £3, under-16s free, and it welcomes all ages and musical styles in a friendly, inclusive room. Slots are members-only and best pre-booked via the 'Watford Open Mic' Facebook group to guarantee a spot.
